Science based Target

We, SOLPLUS CO., LTD. and HIRAISEIMITSU (THAILAND) CO., LTD. are pleased to announce that GHG emission reduction targets have been certified and registered with SBTi* in November 2022. By 2030, we aim to reduce GHG emissions by 50.4% compared to 2018, and limit the global temperature rise to 1.5°C. We as a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) have been certified by the SBTI to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 emissions, but we will also monitor and reduce Scope 3 emissions in order to contribute to the global environment as much as possible. SBTI* (Science Based Targets initiative) : Based on the Paris Agreement, The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) drives ambitious climate action in the private sector by enabling organizations to set science-based emissions reduction targets. The SBTi is a partnership between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
